Unhappy Souls at Avalon Danvers
No, I’m not talking about ghosts, it’s some Avalon Danvers residents who are apparently unhappy. I was looking around for news items about Danvers State Hospital, and came across some reviews of Avalon Danvers from current residents of the complex. Complaints range from noise and traffic problems, unresponsive management, unseemly neighbors, and “corners cut on construction”. I’m sure all you Avalon haters will enjoy reading these:
Note: There are currently eight reviews, four positive and four negative. It’s probably unwise to draw any real conclusions from these given the games people play online (who knows how many bad reviews are from the same person, and how many good ones are from Avalon management?).
snap!
You say there are only 4 comments but all the one’s I read had quite a few “responses” where most people seemed to agree with the complaint. Knowing Avalon, I wouldn’t expect anything less, and if you asked me I’d be surprised if these issues were unique to the Danvers property. Overall it probably won’t hurt the place too much, I’m always surprised with what people will grow to be complacent with.
Well yeah, there are some additional responses adding to the negative opinion. I think a good percentage of the responses were made by people who also wrote a review though.
I’m sure you’re right about these issues not being unique to Danvers. You could probably look up all the Avalon properties and find similar reviews.
Fantastic.
I like the comment about the roaches being from when the place was a hospital. Shows how much these people even know about where they are living. Did the roaches live in the bricks while they were gutting the interior?
On the Avalon website the place looks pretty nice, very modern looking apartments. But at $1000+ a month I think I would find something else, even without the problems people are claiming.
Phil, I fixed your comment. Sorry there’s no edit option.
The response I laughed at most was someone saying that one of the complainers sounded like a “spoiled little rich kid”.
I only wish there were more of these to read…
