The Forum is Back

I decided to bring the forum back. Part of my future plan for KirkbrideBuildings.com is to welcome contributions from other people who have had first-hand experience of the various buildings. Having a forum is an obvious first step toward that goal. Feel free to contribute with information, questions, or comments.

There’s already a good amount of facts, stories, and discussion in there from a couple years ago when the forum was at its peak. Most likely it won’t be as busy as it was, but it’s worth making all that information available again—even if it becomes an embarrassment because no one posts anymore:)

BTW: If you visit the forum and notice anything particularly odd-looking, or have trouble with some feature or other, please let me know. It was kind of a hack job to squeeze phpBB into the KB.com site layout. I’m sure it’s got a few bugs.

I think it’s awesome you put the forum back on-line. I’ve been reading past posts for the last couple of hours now… you’re right, there is a lot of information there, and I’m glad you’re able to share it. I hope people find this site and post to it frequently. Many things have happened in the world of Kirkbrides in the past couple of years… it’s interesting to see where things left off in 2006!

Ha. Yeah, it’s sort of like opening a time capsule. It’s kind of weird reading all the stuff about Danvers’ demise and the real-time responses to the Taunton fire… I regret taking it down now. You’re right that a lot has happened since then. I considered adding some information about what’s happened in the last two years, but it doesn’t really make sense. It’ll all come out anyway as people start talking and asking questions. IF people start talking and asking questions…

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
